I think all of us would answer yes when asked if we wanted to be more effective this year in our ministries. The sad reality however is that most of us continue to do the same things year after year and expecting different results. If something wasn’t effective last year what will make it effective this year? I loved a recent article I read which highlights an important principle with our work.
Push any Harder and You’ll Break It
You do your best, but often you get to the point where you are in danger of breaking something if you press any harder. Then you realize that the best strategy is to let go—at least for a while.
